The park is large. To have enough time to get a feel of the park and to stroll around it, allow at least two or three hours for one's visit. It's supposedly one of the best amusement parks in Germany, ranked by many below Phantasialand near Cologne. Although they have many different countries represented, I don't think the intention is the same as Epcot. The location is daytrippable from Freiburg, Basel in Switzerland, Baden-Baden, parts of the Black Forest and Strasbourg in France.

This thread is archived. Port Aventura is a pretty nice park but Europa is miles better to me. I don't think it's even close. Port Aventura didn't have Shambhala when I visited but Europa didn't have Blue Fire or Wodan. It was quite possibly the best park I've ever been to and that was before they even built what are probably their best two rides.
Im Europa-Park ist einfach fĂŒr jeden was dabei und es wird ganz sicher ein unvergesslicher Ausflug. Der Heide-Park ist auch cool, aber der legt mehr Wert auf anstĂ€ndige Achterbahnen. FĂŒr JĂŒngere ist nicht so viel dabei und auch die Thematisierung ist nicht so der Hammer.
